Building The Prayer Loft

We started work on our prayer loft as an act of faith in early March.
Things were looking pretty bad for our church to even survive beyond the summer.
We did not know if we would be selling and moving or just closing and handing the keys to the denomination.  We all had times where the level of discouragement was high but through it all we held on to the hope that God would make a way for us to continue. It is now several weeks later and we have had the proposal we submitted to the denomination accepted and we have a new lease on life as a church. We are all delighted and I think God has been honored by our little acts of faith. Things like building a prayer loft, or building the new website, continuing to do our feedings for the homeless and poor, having a new members class.

Kelly Scott has designed and done the construction of the new prayer loft. You can see in the photos the current progress. Next step will be the carpet and finishing details.

The prayer loft will features a variety ways to connect with God in prayer. From Greek icons,  prayer candles, and small celtic prayer labyrinth. Communion will be available every week for those who want to partake. We hope that during Sunday worship or during the week people will come and pray.
